Accessibility statement
Last updated 26 July 2026 · Next review 26 July 2027
1. Our commitment
Openlight is committed to making its website and services accessible to as many people as reasonably possible. We aim to use clear language, logical page structures, readable text, keyboard-accessible navigation and appropriately labelled forms.
2. Current status
This website has been built to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet commissioned an independent audit, so we describe this as our aim rather than a certified result.
Measures taken so far include:
- Semantic headings in a logical order on every page
- Text and interactive elements tested for AA colour contrast against the page background
- Visible focus indicators, and navigation that works by keyboard alone
- Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide
- No content that moves, flashes or auto-plays
- No cookie banner or interstitial to dismiss before reading the site
3. Known limitations
We are not aware of specific accessibility problems on this site at present. It has not been independently audited or tested with a full range of assistive technologies, so we expect that issues will surface as more people use it. We would rather hear about them than assume there are none.
4. Reporting a problem
If you find something on this site difficult or impossible to use, email hello@openlightenergy.co.uk and tell us what happened, which page it was on and what you were trying to do. We will acknowledge your message and tell you what we intend to do about it.
If you need information from this site in a different format, ask us and we will provide it.
5. Review
This statement was prepared on 26 July 2026 and will next be reviewed by 26 July 2027, or sooner if the website changes materially.
